Help!
since they're doing out of business, my friends have a question about their protection agreement. we bought them a computer as a present, it was back in October I think, and we purchased them a 2 year protection plan. does anybody know a Circuit City number to call and ask them about how the agreement will work since they're out of business?...
our friends need help asap.
thanks!
I DONT' HAVE ANY PAPERWORK!
MY FRIENDS OWN THE COMPUTER, WE PURCHASED IT FOR THEM AS A GIFT

If you read your paperwork that came with the protection program, you will find that the program is not backed by Circuit City but another company. Kinda like an insurance policy being underwritten by another company. It is that company, not Circuit City that you will be dealing with. That would have been the same answer even if Circuit wasn't going out of business.

Some of their stores are closed already and their website has been taken down. I'd find that paperwork and call the number in there.
