i mean does game play get effected...?? it is just space to store games...right?? or will a 60 gb version be slower tthan a 160gb version...

it wouldn't matter anyway. 60GB is obsolete and not in production anymore since early last year. You don't wanna get pre-owned. The basic thing 60GB can do is better with 160GB. the main difference is just backwards compatibility with PS2. 160GB does not play PS2 games.
