atmega16.what can be problems? hello,
i am using serial programmer for burning program in atmega16.but i am unable to do so.no software is able to detect the device.what can be the problem?
is it related to program enable instruction (i have read this in atmega 16)? if yes, how should it be done?
also suggest a good compiler with which i can also burn program.
 
The AVR series have fuses that control what modes of programming are possible. The standard program for burning AVRs is AVR Studio.
