country/outdoors is accessible? i want to visit a good historical city and also get out into the country side.
 
try san antonio, lot's of missions, and the alamo and you are near the hill country and a few hrs away from the beach . lot's to do in the area sea world fiesta tx, river walk. military museums in the area. lived there and still live near, so i'm per juiced to san antonio
