What is the best free download for converting wmv files to avi to burn through Divx?

I downloaded Stoik Video converter and the files do switch to avi, but they end up being huge. Is there anyone who knows how to do it right with Stoik or knows another free download that works well and keeps the files the same size?

Yeah, well there's no such thing as a free lunch dude.That's probably why that converter u used didn't do such a good job with your files.

I gave up using this sorta apps ages ago cause I always had problems with the files I got. Now I just use some Tunebite app to convert wmv to avi or to whatever works best for some other devices I have round the house.

U should give it a spin, see how it works for u.
