I meet a lot of women in my day-to-day life, not in a romantic way but just as friends of friends or mate's girlfriends.
When meeting another man the obvious thing to do is to shake hands. But what is the correct way of meeting a woman? I don't particularly like hugging or polite cheek-kissing, but shaking hands sometimes feels either too formal or too 'masculine'. What should I do instead?
I'm in no way trying to be sexist or awkward but I genuinely don't like touching people (hugging/ kissing etc) and just want to show women the same respect as I show men- as I am aware some women feel uncomfrtable shaking hands too.
