What is the difference between Amazon Mobile Verizon and Normal Verizon?

Like the Samsung Galaxy Note II is only $149 on Amazon mobile and its $299 on the Verizon website, Why is that? Do you get the same coverage and support with both? Which is better?
 
I think they're selling you a used phone on the Amazon one. It's still Verizon it's just that you're buying the phone from Amazon
