I need to get a new smartphone soon. I've had the palm treo for almost 3 years and now I'm looking to get a blackberry or android phone. I've never had either, so what is the difference? I'm thinking I should just get a blackberry over an android because it has been around longer. Anyway, here is what's important to me in a phone:
-ease of use.
-calender.
-some emailing.
-some internet.
-camera

I don't know if I want an all touch phone... but maybe. Any advice from blackberry & android users is appreciated!

blackberry is for a heavy business user who's world is based around their work
android on the other hand is a bit of everything thrown in together

i have had both blackberry's and android from t mobile
but im a big android fan due to the awesome android market and customization
blackberry on the other hand is very outdated and puts out phones that were acceptable in 2004 or 05

on verizon i recommend you check out the droid incredible or the droid X for touch screen phones

for something with a keyboard check out droid 2:http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/controller?item=phoneFirst&action=viewPhoneDetail&selectedPhoneId=5429&capId=&phoneTopRated=

Good luck
