They're like fundamentalists, but they believe in religious liberty/liberty of conscience
They believe the religious right are the "legalists" and it's true, fundies can be legalists.
Anyone who calls the SDAs "legalists", but backs up the religious right is a hypocrite!!

"Legalists" exist everywhere, not just in the SDA church, but the SDA church itself opposes legalism.
SDAs, like most Christians, oppose a lot of things and still do them anyway.
