What is the soonest time after unprotected sex pregnancy will show on a test?

My b/f and I had unprotected sex and he did finish. I am not on any birth control or anything currently. I know, not a good idea. Although I do have an appointment in less than two days at the doc to get on birth control. I am aware they give pregnancy tests in the same appointment, but I am wondering if I were to become pregnant from this time only a couple days before my appointment if it is too soon to show up on a test?

Not necessarily - the Dr. can give you a blood test to check for pregnancy first. It may be though that it's a bit early in your cycle and he'll have you come back later to chat about b/c - they won't give you b/c if there's a chance you're pregnant. Good luck.
