What is this Scottish Borders holiday home called and where is it?

My mum was telling me about how she spent a week with some friends in a spooky converted castle sort of holiday home in the Scottish borders in the 70s. It had a picture with a story about the house on it, but she couldn't remember what it said. There are two pictures of this home I have given the Youtube link to. If you know where this home is or what it is called, I might be able to find out what the story says. Thanks!
