What is Zen Buddhism ? is it a religion?

Buddhism is a philosophy. Zen is a different style and some people can follow it as a religion.

It is NOT a cult. Cult is where you get together and brain wash yourselves with opinions like the world has been created.

Zen is a practical approach to the life. Some professional sports teams are using Zen concepts to achieve high results since they can't use Christianity to get that done.
 
It is bullshit, different from other styles of buddhism by having slightly different consistency
