What kind of car/truck would be best for a 16 year old?

So I've been thinking about a 350z but insurance would be high. I've also thought about an F-150, gas would be through the roof but insurance would be cheaper. There's got to be something with some middle ground, right? I want something manly or a sports car but I can't really find the right one. The V6 2009 Camaro looks perfect but it's out of my price range. I've saved up $15,000. I'm mature enough to not to speed.

Most 16 yr-olds are mature enough not to speed, but they still speed and kill themselves in astonishing numbers. I wonder why that is?
