What kind of record does the Jaguar S type have . Are the engines reliable?

I have found several here in Italy with the 2 lit engine 1999 to 2003 and
they seem in great shape.

They get many problems. Mostly electrical.

British cars and Italian cars are very bad in reliability.
I am Italian so don't think I hate Italy or Italian cars. I love Ferrari's and Lambo's and Alfa Romeo's. But they break too much.

Japanese or German is the way to go in cars.
