So when asking this question, a particular girl whom I will not name came to mind who's a friend on my Facebook. From what I know and can see from her profile pics - She has an awesome looking bedroom. She's pretty. Smart. She's been to concerts! She went to New York City!
I mean this is a heck of a lot more then I can say for myself- I had to live in a plaine dane bedroom for 3 yrs of my life but it was out of necessity because my mother was taking care of my ailing Grandmother and I couldn't like, customize the room at my Grandmother's house cause my Aunt wouldn't let me.
But ya know, here I am in a low income family, sure I get down some times but not as much as her! I mean to me it's kind of unfamothable to try to comperehend how someone with so many 'things' and 'experiences' could be so unhappy. She has a supporting family and everything. I mean I sorta do, but I'm not like as close knit with my family as she is.
Ya know, I don't own a car, I don't have my own place, all I am is a college student just getting by living cheaper then you might believe, but ya know what? I'm still optimistic. I'm still happy. Cause I'm so happy that I finally have a room that feels like mine again, - I have pictures up in my room and all the various assortments in my room just make me smile.
I guess what I'm getting at is ya might not realize how great you have it until you loose what you took for granted.
