Ring a bell? A boy plays a piece and hes really good at piano but he loses this competition to a boy he doesn't like. He gets depressed and goes to a Sakura tree out of season and sees a girl in it. She tells him that she's the fairy of that tree. She asks him to play a song for her, he denies. Everyday he went and later finds that the tree was cut down. He becomes worried for the girl. He uses his emotions to play the piece of this competition "Kanon" At the very end, he finds that she wasn't really a fairy and her father made the song and named it after her.
What is it?! I love this story and my friend just reminded me of it
