I used Limewire and now I'm using Frostwire but neither of them are very reliable. What else can I use?

I'm assuming it's OK to totally trash your computer and load it up with viruses and malware, right? Then it really doesn't make any difference. Try them all.

although it is illegal i would use utorrent, or vuse, vuse has a nice UI, and utorrent is fast and simple so i would go with that

torrents.

how to use them:

http://www.wikihow.com/Download-Torrents

trackers (sites that let users download and upload torrents) my favs:

www.thepiratebay.com

www.mininova.com

one thing to remeber is to look for seeders. there other users that are done with the file and will quicken the download time. be sure to read comments to be sure its safe to download. if you want a way faster download and stuff, theres sites that you sign up and its private p2p.

GL

p.s. forgot to mention you need a program to download the torrents. limewire can download them but i recommend getting either utorrent or bittorrent (simply google them)

µtorrent or similiar.

I personally find torrents a lot easier, faster and more genuine than p2p networks such as Limewire, Kazaa etc...

Just download the client at www.utorrent.com and locate torrents through tracker sites such as mininova.org or thepiratebay.org

Please bear in mind that it is not always legal to download files in your jurisdiction. You can usually get away with it if you already have it on DVD or something but if you did, you wouldn't be downloading it. lol.

Frostwire IS safer that Limewire, but, you're right, niether are very reliable... I'm not sure what other peer-2-peer programs are out there, but I am sure that there are some..
I think I'll go check google.

Edit_

Try using Zultrax..here is a wiki site for you,

I will also find you the download site ;)
