In addition to refunding my fare paid and 1/2 off of that fare on a future cruise, I had to rebook the cruise immediately because we had a wedding planned on one of the island ports. The cruise was cancelled the day before we were scheduled to depart and we grabbed the last two cabins on another cruise line, which cost us double for cabins and another $700 plus for transportation just to get to and from another port. The travel insurance purchased covers nothing because it was the cruise line's fault. Any advice on how to seek any reimbursements or any knowledge about what cruise lines might do in this case?
