what serial killer movie do you prefer?

Do you like the slasher type, Friday the 13th, Halloween, Texas chainsaw massacre balls to the wall serial killer.
Or do you like the mysterious intelligent serial killer. movies like seven copycat and the bone collector.
I prefer the FBI agent chasing a smart and witty serial killer more than the axe through the head type. but for the record I do like both but I think the thriller type is more intriguing.

BQ: who thinks Kevin spacey was brilliant as a serial killer.

I definitely prefer the psychological, intelligent thrillers. I do like the classic slashers (Halloween, TCM, not so much Friday the 13th), but nowadays the ideas are so lame and recycled. My favorite intelligent thriller movie has to be Silence of the Lambs.

Ah, yes. Spacey is one of my favorite actors and he was great as a serial killer. Seven was a great movie overall too.
