What should I feed my pet cockroaches?

All kinds of veggies, dog food, cat food (soaked in water or ground first), things you're about to throw into the compost pile, anything really. Just out of curiousity, what species of cockroach do you have? I'm considering starting up a blaptica dubia colony.

Maybe ask a petshop they should know. Sorry but I would not own a cockroach they give me the creeps, I would rather smash them then own them as a pet lol.

You might try putting some other bugs in with them and see if they eat them...like a couple ants or rolly pollys. Something little.
