What side dishes will go well with Baked Ham Mac and Cheese?

I'm making my boyfriend and I Baked Ham Mac and Cheese for a Valentines Day dinner, but I can't think of any side dishes that would good with it. Any suggestions?! We're both very picky eaters.

You can never go wrong with a salad or steamed veggies.

Salad and a nice steamed vegetable. Asparagus or green beans or cauliflower or brussel sprouts all come to mind.

Salad. Some nice greens to balance out the dairy and meat groups. A nice refreshing side dish. Or if you don't like salad, maybe a glass of apple juice? or orange juice?

Lightly steamed fresh green beans tossed with a little vinegar and oil and topped with sliced almonds!
