I just sold my large Majestic brand jersey that was given to me as a gift because it was much too big even before I lost a lot of weight. I've looked at the size charts, and I am still unsure what size jersey to purchase.
My chest currently measures 36" and my waist is about 30", so I'm debating between youth XL and adult S. I generally favor jerseys a size smaller than recommended because I hate feeling like I'm swimming in them, but I also would not like to be that guy with the ridiculously small jersey.
I've been leaning towards the youth XL as it is also cheaper and easier to find, but I'm worried about the transition from adult to youth sizes. From what I hear they are a bit shorter, but i'm about 5' 10", so I don't know if that would really affect me.
Please let me know your opinion as I'd like to order a jersey before Summer starts.
