what sort of wireless network card will i need for my pc to connect to the internet?

i am getting wireless broadband and need a wireless network card for my pc. what type of card will i need? also will i need any specific software??

First off, do you actually NEED to use wireless? Wireless is slower than a cabled connection and more open to "packet sniffing" (data theft)

If you do, you will need to supply more details of which PC you have and which wireless broadband router you will be getting, plus some idea of your budget, so we can match the components up and get you the best performance.

Most wireless cards and routers are standards compliant (IEEE 802.11) and will work together, but they are better (faster) matched properly.
