What subwoofer would fit under my 2001 Honda Prelude's passenger seat?

I am looking to put a powered small subwoofer somewhere in my 2001 Honda Prelude. Id like to keep my factory head unit and keep the subwoofer out of the trunk. I am reading that some people put it under the passenger seat (using a low profile powered subwoofer). Has anyone had any luck with a certain brand and model with a prelude? Does the factory head work with aftermarket powered subwoofers?

Why would you put a sub under a seat the sound would not deflect right and it would sound horrible
