what things/equipment would you need to make an abridged series?

i just wanna know what software and other things i would need to have to make an abridged series of a tv show.

All you really need to do is record the Episode with.. i forget what there called but you hook em up to your computer to record the TV, anyways you can also just download the episode and cut out the voices and just add your own.
