What to do about a friend who non-stop complains about boy troubles?

Don't get me wrong, I've had my own share of relationship drama and I know it's frustrating, but I have a close friend who's been calling me non-stop to talk about her boy troubles. She keeps on moving from guy to guy and she always has to complain about the guys to me. Like yesterday she was freaking out the whole f'n day about some guy she almost had sex with the night before.

Usually I'd be okay with this because I'm sadly not a very blunt person; I'm more of a "wallflower." But I'm going through my parents' divorce right now, and my brother's been in and out of the hospital for the past three months. I feel like it's against my own priorities for me to even listen to her boy problems.

And I tried to let her understand that there are people in the world who dig in dumpsters to survive another day and that some people are beaten on a daily basis (my boyfriend was abused all his childhood). She has a perfect family and has never been cheated on in a relationship. We all get annoyed and depressed with life sometimes, but her life could be much worse.


Sorry for writing so much but I'm kind of at loss of what to say or do. I envy the fact that the only problem she has is boy drama.

LOL Matt's response was funny... Tell her to not screw random guys and wait at least 8 months in a relationship b4 doing the deed... Just tell her in a kind way how you feel. Tell her you're having some problems and could use the help. I hope things work out for you.
