what tours/tournaments do college golfers play in the summer?

what kind of tournaments are out there for amateur golfers during the summer? I'm interested in walking on to my university next fall and need some tournament experience that would be respectable

any advice out there?
 
JUdgiung by the sooner you're in oklahoma . For i think 155 bucks you can play in the ozark ametuer tournament in Joplin , Mo. I think its early July . Winner gets voucher for golf stuff from representatives of the big golf companies . Its the oldest tournement west of the mississippi. Last year 6 under won the two day event . Its thirty six holes <riding>.
