what type food or nutrition do you need (SPECIFICALLY) to build strength?

I'm 17 years old and I've read on the internet that teenage guys younger than me (High school) could do more pushups with one arm. also they could do 20 pull ups or more. (Note: I'am not skinin bones or fat at all I'm buff and have muscle with BARELY any fat) the point is that I'm trying SO HARD to get stronger like by doing more push ups and pull ups i did the best i could but i still cannot do more than my maximum limit.
Then i found out that it's about Nutrition and what you eat so can you please tell me what type of should i eat (PLEASE I don't want to make the same mistake again). :'((((((((((((

protein: tuna, chicken, lean meat, fish, etc
depending on your goals, eat 1-1.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight daily
