What type of dog did Obama eat and was it barbecued?

In obamas book he said he ate dog,did they use a cook book when cooking it?I can find no recipes for cooking dog,I wonder if Obama has one,Has he ate dog since that time wen he claims he was young,?he must of liked it because he put it in the book,he still remembers the taste he says,a bit chewy but it was ok,what will he eat next,?
