What was the name of a late 90's sci-fi tv pilot that was based on the Xmen?

I believe this showed on Fox in the early 90's. The characters were loosely based on the Xmen.

It was called "Generation X". I can't believe I actually enjoyed it when it aired on Fox. I recently watched it again on Youtube. It did not age well. But it wasn't too good to begin with.
