what would be a good beginner sport bike?

i am 16 weigh 185 pounds and stand 6 foot ive been wanting a sport bike for awhile what is a good recommended bike i was thinking the cbr 600rr ive road the ninja 250r before and its to small for my taste what would you recommend.
 
Is this your first bike, or your first sport bike? The 600's would still be smallish for you. But the main point- as a first bike it's probably a little too much in the zipsplat category for a newbie. Why not get an older bike, something a bit less racer sharp and get some proficient riding time under your belt before you take on a project like the new speed racers...They're a handful, and more. The 600's are as fast as the fastest liter bikes were 10 years ago. Not for the faint of heart or short of experience.

Maybe an older Triumph or Honda would be a good starter. What's called a naked bike today...A used bike will give you wiggle room to learn maintenance and get offs...without being big bucks out of pocket...

Please take the rider's course available in your area. You'll learn a lot!
