Sarah is a beautiful young woman with long, raven colored hair and piercing light blue eyes. She is tall, thin and athletic. She is extraordinarily gifted intellectually, especially in mathematics, but her talent for the sciences seemed to be matched by her lack of ability to relate to others, especially men. Despite her beauty, she is completely oblivious to their flirtation and attention. Perhaps worse, she is very well aware of how intelligent she is and isn’t afraid to beat people over the head with it. She doesn’t just think she’s the smartest person in the room, she *knows* it. Humility is not one of her virtues.
Sarah does have a soft spot, though. She grew up in a very blue collared, middle class home and closely relates to the struggle many are going through. Additionally, her little brother has Down's Syndrome and she was outraged at the treatment he received as compared to how the quality of special education available to a family of affluent means. In short, she's a genius with a huge, huge chip on her shoulders.
