...the British Army? It's not often I ask personal questions on here, but I'm really proud of this guy - almost as if he was one of my own. You would not believe the obstacles this man has overcome to get this far. And he will make a very good soldier. Thanks.

Proud that he is joining the army? You should be ashamed, he may need to go and kill foreign people for no other reason than government's greet and desire to control!

A good waterproof, flash drive (maybe stainless steel) so he can carry info, letters, photos around on his keychain and not worry if it gets run over by a tank or something..

Depends on how much you can afford, but a really good watch, that can take all sorts of battering, would be an ideal present.
