glowing symbol over their head? Just an interesting thought I had... How do you think that people would act towards each other in Western society if our belief system were a symbol floating over our heads, (like the big red Arby's hat)?
In some Eastern societies, you can tell by the way a person dresses. Of course that is no indication of the devoutness of that person, but it's still an indication.
As a cynic, I feel our discretion about our beliefs is what keeps our society functioning smoothly (ideally anyway) on the "don't ask don't tell" policy, but if that layer of privacy were stripped away, I have to wonder what would happen. What are your thoughts?
