a mixture of surprise, guilt and bemusement from me.
 
I would wonder who was leaving corpses in the middle of the road.

Then I would call the Roman Empire to see if there was any reward for finding his body.

Celebrate. If only cars were around 2000 years earlier we could have avoided all the cults, murder, oppression etc.
