What's a cost efficient way to connect my xbox 360 to the internet?

I just got a card for 3 months of live for my xbox 360 and now i just need a way to connect my 360 to the internet without wasting a bunch of money. i don't want to get a wireless adapter because i don't want to spend $100. also i cant use a really long ethernet cable because i cant have that running through my whole house. any suggestions? thanks
 
A.) Move the router to a closer position to you and the other computers.

B.) Get a long Ethernet cable and just deal with it.

C.) Buy the wireless adapter, which I highly recommend not to do.
 
Well, those are your only options. Ethernet, or wireless. If you don't want it running through your house, drill through the walls and paint over the cable... then again, that isn't cost efficient either.
You could move the xbox closer to the source of the internet?
