Whats a good Beginner bike for me?

im 19 and looking to get my first motorcycle. i really enjoy the style of cafe racers and old honda cb's ive been looking into old enduros although i want something freeway rated so in time i can slowly ease into it. ive started to look into the late 80's to early 90's honda nighthawk 250 and 450's any one have any suggestions with that said? not looking to spend much at all like 500-1200 ? used obliviously im 5'11" about 150lbs
 
Spend a few bucks on a motorcycle safety course. (MSF)
Ask again when completed, if necessary.
 
aprilia sr 125 + once achieved comfort. Add big bore 185 malossi kit.
Or
Yamaha DT 125
or
honda cg 125 for reliability and it probably the best geared bike to start on with low start up cost.
+
gilera 210 2 stroke moped. I love it.
