My friend is writing a story, and in it, my character has a male gold dragon that she rides. Here's a description:
Gold Dragon-
A gold wyrmling makes an excellent canidate for a human companion because often the wyrmling's parents will send it off to be fostered by another family. It may sound harsh, but not only does fostering protect the young gold dragon, but it helps it learn about the world. If the gold dragon is fostered by a human family, it often takes the form of a human child. But don't be fooled! The child still has the superior intelligence of a gold dragon wyrmling.
Notes-
Note that when a gold dragon wyrmling hatches, it lacks the tentacles and horns that distinguish an adult gold dragon. As the wyrmling matures and it takes on these adult traits, me sensitive to your wyrmling's mood. Some wyrmlings become cranky during this time for the horns and whiskers can cause pain as they grow in.
So what would be a good male name for this dragon? Thanks!
