Whats a good romance novel?

Im looking for a good romance novel...one that doesn't take place back in the day in the book, I'd like something modern. One thats going to make me cry, I've read The Time Travelers Wife and absolutely loved it. Loved Twilight, Dear John, The Notebook, so not those.
Also I hate books that start slow, and nothing to do with a police officer, or private investigator crap like that. I'm looking for something more adult like, so nothing to teenish.
