What's a good way to cook Spam when you only have access to a hob and microwave?

My kitchen only has two hobs, a microwave and a sink.
I have some Spam I want to cook.
Hob: That thing that you turn the dial on, and there's this round thing, and because of the dial being turned to an on setting the round thing, being the hob, becomes hot.

I put pans on the hob.
 
Hmmm..what is a ''hob?''

As for cooking SPAM in your microwave that depends on what you're going for..

I lay three paper towels (or a clean dishrag in a pinch) on a plate, cut my Spam into thin slices, and zap. As soon as my Spam is sizzling a bit I remove it from my microwave and let it sit for a minute to allow the fat to drain. Done!
 
Hobs galore

This "hob" you speak of is called a "range"
The circles on top, called "eyes" are heated either through open gas flames or electronically
