What's an interesting topic involving mental disorders?

I need to write a six page paper, and the prompt is mental disorders. My teacher is pretty lenient, so as long as it can be vaguely related back it'll work. I'd rather not write about something common, like depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, etc. In fact, I'd rather not write about a single disorder at all. Any suggestions?
 
you could do a paper on the amount of kids diagnosed with bipolar, ADHD, ADD, asbergers, compared to say, twenty or even ten years ago.
 
I know you said that you do not want to write it on OCD but here is my suggestion on it. There are several variations of OCD that include hoarding, the common perfectionism, and several others. The forms of OCD often can lead to other diseases such as eating disorders(anerexia and bolimia). This would allow you write a greatly detaiiled paper on a variety of subjects. Eating disorders are a great subject too. What if you did it on schizophrenia(i hope that is spelled write) or even personality disorders, there are several of those. Ha I could go on for days but those are some of them. I want to write this essay now, well kinda. I hope this is helpful but if not sorry.
