The Motorola Droid has been the most popular, it has a touch screen and full keyboard compared to the Eris which has a full touch screen. The Motorola also has a flash with it's camera the Eris does not. The Eris has more home screens with 7 and the Motorola only has 3. Both are great phones but it will mostly boil down to user preference.
