can you get hbo or ppv in Usa?
can i view hbo channels ? and pay per view events
 
You cannot view those channels on an FTA system, at least a legal one. Those channels are only legally available from pay TV systems you subscribe to.

FTA is good to get a different sort of programming not on cable, and for free, such as truck and backhaul feeds, international programing, some network feeds, and a few broadcast stations.

FTA is NOT receiving pay channels with out paying. The word for that is piracy, no matter how you do it.
 
There is no such thing as PPV or HBO via broadcast. These are both PAY services, over the air TV programming is FREE.
