Whats good travel wear?

When I go to England, I wonna have a nice comfortable outfit sorted, last time I went I wore (stupidly) a skirt. It takes 2 hours in the car to get to the airport, 2 hours waiting to get on the plane, 2 hours on the plane and about an hour and a half to get to the house, so thats like 5 hours and a half of traveling, :)
Thanks :) BTW I dont like jumpsuits or anything like that :)
