what's the limit up till which a 125 cc bike can be pushed?

i recently bought a honda cbf stunner (125cc bike), and was wondering if it could be used for touring purposes. i'm planning to cover a distance of 900km (bangalore-pune). the bike's pretty comfortable for long hauls, but my only concern is whether a 125 cc bike can cover such distances without breakin down or not... i wouldn't wanna be stranded in the middle of nowhere... some advice...? preferably from people who've had experience with touring... thanks
 
You bought the wrong bike for touring. You would need more like a 250cc or higher 2 stroke engine bike or a 500cc or higher 4 stroke engine bike. A 125cc 2 stroke motorcycle max top end with stock gearing is probably 75 mph but you would not want to ride it at max speed for more than handful of minutes or you will wear down your engine real fast.
