breathe underwater? I'm desperately seeking the title or name of author of a series of books I read years ago... I don't remember much about the plot line though!
The main character was a man who kept to himself, and he had runic tattoos covering his entire body, so he always covered them up. In one of the books, he goes to an underwater world... He thinks he is drowning but just as he expects to die, he realizes that he can breathe underwater - it's some special thing to do with the world he's entering. There were a few different 'worlds' in the books [I believe around a total around 7 books]. I believe he comes across a female [whether by saving her from danger, or because he was put in charge of her...] who may be tattooed like him?
Does this sound like any book any of you have read? LOL I apologize for my vagueness, but any help would be appreciated!
