Whats with the dating older guys trend?

im in high school 10th grade and i noticed most girls in my school boyfriends and either 19 of in their early 20's. I wonder is it some type of trend now , if so what will happen to all the high school guys without dates if every girl dates older guys?


Also, why don't the men find it weird that they are dating minors 15 - 17 is the age range at my school
 
Girls like older guys because they feel more mature and above their age group.

Yeah, I'm attracted to older guys, but guys who are only a couple years older.
 
Cuz girls have the maturity level of a guy 3 years older than them, so the guys there age seem imature to them. The older guys are using the girls for sex so they dont giv a crap about age
 
From my experience, there are two main reasons for this trend: Girls tend to mature faster then guys do, so they find the guys in their schools too immature and would rather date someone whose at the same mentality they are. This is an over-generalization of course as I am sure some guys are mature enough in the grade, it's just that they seem rare. The second reason I've encountered is mainly physical. Older guys are more experienced, taller, more masculine, they aren't boys, they're men. The old cavemen/woman genes come out and women look for the guy that can "protect them" and make them feel small and safe. They also tend to have much more confidence than most high-school guys, which is the most attractive trait in a man.
And yes, it is creepy for the 20+ year old to be dating 15-17, it is also possibly illegal. These guys are most likely just interested in the girls' naivety so that they can to sleep with them. A few may be in it for the right reasons though. And to address your earlier question, the high school guys may tend to date the girls in the lower grades or act more mature.

no but its true, i guess its because older guys love girls who are younger and "fresh" as some say, younger boys love girls who are older because you know they are experienced and will do things.
society is stupid.
 
Guys that age are always eager to be with a dumb minor who will give in to everything he asks for (sex, sex, sex); they love jail-bait. It's really stupid to be with someone you shouldn't, so please don't do it. It was a mistake I made that I regret. No joke.
