When are the tax hikes being implemented for those who make over $1,000,000?

My wife and I are both doctors and we are fairly young and just beginning to start making some good money. However, suddenly, this guy Obama is going to punish us for our success. Why? We worked hard and went to school for a long time, and just bought a house last a couple years ago for $2,000,000 and have a couple expensive cars too that we are paying for. We also have a lot of student loans that we owe. We were going to start a new clinic of our own, but now may have to delay it for another couple of years or longer.

Why are we being punished ?

Obama wants to punish those who work hard and give it to those who dont. You take away more money from me which means he can give it to the lazy people on welfare who have a chip on their shoulder and believe that they dont have to work. I believe that if you don't work, you dont deserve to eat (unless you have previousally worked/retired or disabled). If you are able and capiable to work, then you do and stop taking the hardworking taxpayers money.

I hate it when the tax rate gets changed if you make more money. I am truly sorry for those people. We need a flat 10% tax no less no more no matter how much money you make. Doctors and Lawyers and other high salary people have to work incredibly hard. My step-dad is a doctor and makes a lot of money. Almost half of it gets taxed. He went to school till he was almost 30. Thats like a 3rd of a persons life. Now the government wants to tax that away to nothing. Thats not fair. They earned it, they deserve it.

Dude I do not feel for you, first you should have paid all your student loans before buying a 2 million dollar home and all those cars and then start complaining to unemployed people like myself (due to lay-offs) and secondly it is not just rich people getting a tax hike it will be across the board on everyone. I would gladly except donations and then you can claim it on your taxes for a deductible. I do commend you on your success, but please don't go rubbing it in our nose.
