When can I text Verizon customers?

I have a friend who can only text Verizon customers.

I currently have Alltel, and they are merging. When can I be able to text him?

um i think it should be okay because yoou have attel but im not sure if they already merged

And what do you mean by "merging"? Do you mean switching service?

Sundays... it is "the day of rest" and im guessing most people don't care that day... they let you!!!!!!!
