when creationist complain about evolution being taught in schools?

because it's against their religion isn't it a bit like say physics class should be removed because Jesus didn't teach them about gravity? I would love to have been able to tell my math teacher arithmetic went against the teaching of Odin but that wouldn't fly(especially since Odin is the seeker of knowledge) . not just that why are they so scared of evolution? it does not even mention where life comes from simply how it has changed over time, and why is it none of them are actually up to par on the topic and lack the ability to disprove evolution?

for example.. evolution teaches that an elephant has evolved and has out lived his ancestors because of natural selection, meaning his ancestors died off because they were not able to live very well in that environment, so they evolved , so they could live longer and better. If this train of thought is true shouldn't monkeys have died off since people think we evolved from them, we survived and they didn't because of natural selection. That makes no sense. If you want to think we came from apes, animals who pick fleas off of each other and eat them for a snack then go right ahead
and I'm pretty sure this is a response to an answer from your last question, the point of my last answer was if your going to teach one belief you should teach the other one in school as well

i belive in god and evolution i just belive evolution isnt random that if you took two controlled groups and put them i controlled enviroments they would evolve along the same lines and be well adapted to thier envirments random would be a fish evolving to eat only strabarrys which it would have no way of getting just saying.

And it's hypocritical because those same people don't understand why they can't have prayer in school. I am Christian and not opposed to any of it, but those who want to shut down any way of thinking should be feared and fought. They're no different than extremist Muslims..
